Fugro Seacore, the installation contractors, own a number of jack-up platforms for over-water drilling and other marine infrastructure activities. They prepared the concept design of a new walking jack-up and appointed Longitude as naval architects.
Longtiude’s activities included:-
- Preparing scantling design for hull to GL Rules
- Preparing load cases to represent operational use
- Preparing global finite element analysis for assessment of operational load cases
- Optimising design for client requirements
- Preparing stability books, loadline, tonnage and other statutory documentation
