The OSD-IMT2007 Seismic Research vessel is designed primarily for Seismic survey activities. Large gun and streamer stowage’s and reels are located aft and a helipad is located above. A high towing capability is provided by twin azimuth propulsion thrusters and with two bow thrusters to provide a high station keeping capability. The vessel is fitted with a side “A” frame for water column and seabed sampling. A Seabed mapping capability is also provided by gondola mounted sensors.
